The final days of get fit are coming closer and closer. I'm actually dreading the last day. I don't want this class to end it literally is my favourite. I have improved so much this past couple months whether it be muscular endurance or cardio. I entered this class with a certain mindset; I'm going to leave being successful and I think I've achieved most of my goals. I find that my body is more active and doesn't get tired after jogging up a flight of stairs. We stated the course with te pond run, where we run a minute and walk a minute. I found that it was hard to keep up with this however just the other day, we want out again and Mr. Hepting had given Harjot and I the title of "the legendary peacekeepers". It honestly made my day. I was so happy and I felt so accomplished when he said this and it wasn't just once that he said it, every time we passed him he would make a comment about our pace and it was always positive. One thing that I found really helpful was the Nike fitness app. This app allows us to pick and choose which parts of the body we would like to work out and how to work it. After working with this app I decided to download it onto my iPhone also so that i would be able to work out at home also.
I find that this class has made me fall in love with fitness and that working out can be fun and isn't always a chore. I used to hate going for runs yet I find it so fun now that my cardio is up. After this semester I don't think it's going to be hard for me to keep up with my fitness. Before I didn't like working out because I thought I didn't have enough resources such as weights and things like that however after this class I've learned to use things that around me rather than to make excuses and delaying it.
I will truly miss this class since it is one of my favourites. As a career choice I had made up my mind as becoming a teacher however I don't know what subject I would like do teach. This class has encouraged me into teaching pe and I'm really glad because I know if would be a good health choice.
